Some specifics about our Guest Cottage - La Petite Maison La Petite Maison is situated in the quaint settlement of The Current, Eleuthera and is an ideal get-away from the hustle and bustle of 21st. Century living. The screened-in porch gives a lovely view of North Beach which is ideal for swimming as it is usually calm and does not have great depth. It is located on the same property as Seaside Cottage which is a two bedroom cottage so that if there is a party of six or seven persons both the Seaside Cottage and Petite Maison can be rented. La Petite Maison is a one bedroom apartment which is fully furnished with a well equipped kitchen and air conditioned living room and bedroom . The bathroom has a shower and the enclosed porch gives the guest alternate space for beach dining and entertaining. The screened in porch, with its sand fly proof screen and the air conditioning also give relief from mosquitoes and sandflies which try to mar a visitor's enjoyment of tranquil Eleuthera. Not far from the apartment is a well stocked grocery store in The Current. There are also stores in the nearby settlement of Bogue and Bluff. There are also a number of churches which can be visited. La Petite Maison rents for $100 a day for two persons without a car, but arrangements can be made for car rental if there is a desire to visit other parts of Eleuthera, which is an interesting and historic island.
